According to Nathan at The eBook Reader, he did get both the Kindle and Aldiko apps to run on the IQ. http://blog.the-ebook-reader.com/201...t-impressions/

I will give the Kindle apps a try tonight and report back.

Initially, I was not sure whether I was going to be happy with the IQ. I was hesitant the first couple of days. But as soon as I got the WiFi working and saw the performance, I knew that for $140 US, it is a great value. As I mentioned early, the screen clarity is not comparable to a netbook or an ipad and the text on the IQ appears a bit fuzzy. Sometimes this is more apparent than others depending on what you are looking at. But for the money, it is a good value for what it can do. Also, I am confident that as new firmware is released, the functionality and usability will get better and better.

The trck is finding the apps in the first place.
(Which isn't looking to be much of an issue for the IQ.)

Sideloading without an Android phone won't work for Kindle, or I am an idiot, since I have looked everywhere for the app. I don't care if I am an idiot btw

, I just would like the app on the IQ. I guess the SlideMe icon on the IQ helps

, but does the IQ come with it or is it part of a future updater ? I know Nathan has it on his devicte in the video, but he has a lot of apps installed on his device that I did not see on the OP pics, so Nathan's IQ could be a press one.

i have the Kindle and Borders apks . tried them last night and they work fien. Ill be posting them for download on my site soon. I also have the NYTimes, USA Today, Engadget, Pandora, Skype, Aldiko, FB Reader J, BeamReader and Adobe apps so far. I thought I had a working YouTube APK as well but it wouldn't load. Ill have to search some more for it.

I actually ran out of space on the SD card I was using

So i didnt get a chance to try the Fennec browser.

I couldn't wait any longer. I went ahead and ordered a white IQ from Tvpupsik since his/her business is barely 15-20 miles from my home. Hope it's a worthy purchase! I'm trusting you, PocketBook. You haven't let me down on the 301+, don't start now.

Yes we are shipping the IQ now. There is an update coming on the 20th If we shipped tomorrow(Friday) it would make it anywhere in the US before Thanksgiving. After tomorrow I wouldnt guarantee it.

And I have a feeling that now you will read a book on IQ before I try to do that.. can't think of reading not from E-Ink yet

Blue color sells triple as much as white and the read is the lowest mover...(let's wait until Feb 14!

How do you get them (do you have an android phone) ? I really don't want to have to get a new phone, I am really happy with my old iphone 3G, but how to get apks on the IQ otherwise ?
