Thus, I propose a thread for a Q&A-type thing, like Click & Clack on NPR only for PCs. After all, almost all of us use them to get to MR in the first place, right? Vent & Rant (e.g. "farking Windows/Mac/Linux!!!") here, tech support (e.g. "Hey, what's the deal with the new version of such-and-such browser?") over there.

Or not; it was just a suggestion. I'll be around if anyone needs me for either.

I've totally had PC issues! and like I said I have used the suggestions here. my rantlette was about the ongoing "my stuff is geekier/techier than your stuff" brags. I was suggesting THOSE could have their own thread/home

P.S. To clarify my AAA: I was angry about myself.

• 1. I play a stupid game instead of doing something useful.
• 2. The stupid game has 100 "waves" (it's a variation of tower defense).
• 3. I had everything planted, inclusive a set towers (X,Y) I demolish and build on a new place, so the bad guys have to walk the whole map again.
• 4. On level 94 I didn't notice I forgot to demolish tower X, and logically couldn't build tower Y (otherwise there is no way for me to lose).
• 5. I got a wave storming through and lost the game (about 1,5h of playing).
