I am definitely going to give The Count of Monte Cristo a go off the back of the recommendations on this thread.
For me - I have a lot of fondness for The Stars my Destination, Siddhartha, Dracula and Sherlock Holmes, Moonfleet as I read them just before I became a teenager. A recent classic I've enjoyed was "Treasure Island" - well worth giving a go if you want read like a pirate. |
