Baltimore Tea & Coffee http://www.baltcoffee.com/ Both carry large selections and will ship anywhere. McNultey's is best for individual loose leaf tea, while Baltimore carries more good quality blends. Stitchawl |

Coconut is... is... is....coconut! Save the coconut for tonight's dinner. Have some Tom Ka Gai. But this afternoon try a nice cup of Ceylon or Assam tea. You might enjoy it more with milk and sugar. But please, dear... boil the fu@@*&ing water first? ![]() Stitchawl |

Only if you want the tea to taste good.
And really... it's not difficult. You can find directions here; http://www.foodnetwork.com/how-to-boil-water/index.html If you need help, remember that we are always here for you. ![]() Stitchawl |

To me, anything that isn't made from the leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant isn't tea.
But... and don't laugh until you try it, I like to drink plain hot water. No tea, no herbs, no coconut. Nuttin! Just a cup of boiled hot water. As I said, don't laugh until you try it. I laughed for a year at a friend who drank this and had some serious humble pie to eat after I tried it. Stitchawl |

I tried Rooibos tea and didn't care for it. The color was attractive, though.
Thanks for the website suggestions. I'll look them over and perhaps order a "sampler." There are so many choices! |

If you like black teas, try the Keemun, Golden Assam, and China Black from McNultey's. Their Ceylon Dimbula is also very, very good. For nice blends, my two favorite tea companies are 'Taylors of Harrogate' who make a great 'English Breakfast Tea' and 'Yorkshire Tea' (both regular and Gold,) and 'Fortnum & Mason' for their 'Royal Blend' and their English Breakfast Tea.' These eight teas make up 95% of my total tea consumption. I like the breakfast blends for my 'wake up tea' as well as the Keemun and China Black, and the Assam, Ceylon, and Royal Blend through out the day. Should I feel the need for an extra 'kick' in the afternoon, I drink another Keemun or China Black. I'll add in 'Russian Caravan Tea,' 'Lopsong Souchang,' and the occasional Pu-er, Imperial Gunpowder, and Ti-quan-yin to round out the list. I don't mention most other oolongs or greens as I am force-fed these when ever I visit friends or family, or go to the corner sushi shop! Stitchawl |

Unfortunately, I am not beppe and cannot describe it well.
I like the taste. It is different from anything else I have tried before. Maybe to a certain degree similar to rooibos. I have ordered 100gr bag yesterday. They say it is healthy, so why not? Quote:
I am forced to drink it from time to time when it is cold at home and I don't want to risk sore throat (by drinking cold mineral still water from bottle), so I drink boiled water ![]() I love to drink water. Home temperature, not cold but never enjoyed boiled water. Awful! Second cuppa. Mate coconut milk. |
