OK Just back from reading the story again.

And....
Just as I thought I had the answer, the last page put paid to it all.

Did Zelda have the murderer on the stage? Or did she get it wrong?

Next a glas of strawberry jam...
Then a bowl of strawberry ice cream..

Ok pooh! you have me hooked now. I am re-reading the story and taking notes as I go. I think I am onto something! I still don't know who the murderer is, and if I can't figure it out by the deadline,(which I can't figure out my time) I will send in my notes. They may make amusing reading for you. You fiend!

- *hmm* the timing might actually work out and some other perplexing questions that were carefully (by the mystery creator that is) never asked even while she was asking about pretty much everything else

Lawl!) Very enjoyable read. May I ask who wrote it? (Was it solely Pooh or a collaboration of sorts?)

The butler gimmick was very nicely done

hmmmmmm! I have discovered a clue (or a comment) that Zelda has not mentioned. Although she should have heard it given it was spoken in French. But, is it a clue or another red herring? Does it matter?

Back to the start a read the rules again!
