But she had soooo many issues, especially for a girl named Buffy, with a home in the Hamptons. Stupid, stupid, stupid apartment office people. My credit card company sent new cards out by overnight express mail, signature required. USPS says the cards were delivered at 2:14 pm on Wednesday, but no cards in my box. Post office claims the apartment office pointed them to the correct box, but the office said she told them to put it in box XXX. The problem is, there are no numbers on my box, and the office woman argued with me that there ARE. I asked if she wanted to come out with me and look at the box because there are no numbers there.

"There aren't?" she asked, all wide eyed. No, and this isn't the first time I've informed them of this, either. Then she had the gall to say, "it was just a letter". No, it was two letters, which contained credit cards, which are now someplace that we don't know, and could possibly be used without my knowledge.

And because we have a 'locked' mailbox the signature required because signature waived, so no proof of delivery beyond someone's word.

Don't even get me started on the fact that this is the SECOND time to have cards sent. The first went to an address that was two moves ago, and should have been wiped out of the credit card system long ago.

It's not like we need to use the cards right now, we go whole months without using it. It's the principal that we CAN'T.

It's not even the principle, it the complete lack of any sort of accountability for them that would scare the heck out of me.

The problem is as soon as you call the credit card company and cancel them, your kindly neighbor who got them by mistake will bring them over.
