Does changing PDF tag modifies file size

The tittle says all: If I modify the TAGS of a PDF (or DJVU) does its file size change ? (I mean: TAG, Tittle, Author, Year, Series)

Are they written back to PDF or they are only stored in METADATA DB ?

They are written to the file at least on export from the library (send to device/save to disk). That ought to change the file size, although not by very much. I doubt it would be, in any practical sense, noticeable.

I mean: changing TAG and other info, does phisically change the file size of the file in the directory of the library ? I mean even 1 byte. I am not interested if it changes on export.

I was talking about physical file size changes. I don't know if calibre writes metadata into the file while it still resides in the library. However, should it do, the same argument about the size added being practically irrelevant applies.

metadata is not written to files in the library.
