AND I actually approached my hubby this morning for a 'get nekkid' session before he got ready for work. I think he liked that aspect.

Here's the rant part of that: I didn't start early enough! We needed more time!

I'm tired of being blamed for poor customer service when I don't have the people available to offer the best customer service. Both the customers and my bosses land on ME, and for fear of my job (which I need, unfortunately), I can't tell my boss that if she wants perfect customer service, she's going to have to hire the people to provide it. The fact that I have six people in every lane, and have had six people in every lane and every available person including members of management running a register for hours, because everyone in town decided to do their holiday meal shopping at once means that sometimes we're going to have no one to get carts, and they're all going to pile up outside, both because management didnt' budget for the extra help we need, and because customers are too lazy to grab a cart on their way into the store. Get a freakin' clue, people.
Shop Yoga.

Take a deep, deep breath, and go to your own private *Happy Place*.

No one knows about your *Happy Place*.

The air is fragrant with blossoms.

The waterfall empties into a peacefull lagoon.

Not a soul can see, nor hear you.

You reach into the water and your fingers are around the
throat of the person that you want dead, dead, dead.

Bubbles surface from their mouth.

All is peaceful.

There now, don't you feel calmer?

Cheers.

Did anybody else hear that soothing music in the background, like they play on tv in scenes where someone is getting hypnotized?

I know I feel more relaxed.

In Chicago that happens during every election...

If you're voting for the incumbent, you vote twice; if you're voting against the incumbent you can only vote once but dead people can vote as well.

That's awesome! Yes, having something even if it is not exactly what you wanted is better than nothing.

I wont do customer service again for exactly that reason, your are stuck in the middle of management and the clients and carry all the burden but have none of the authority.

They still don't know where the extra votes came from. It might have been that four people who vote at the same polling place but in a different district got the wrong ballots (why have a polling place for one person?) The one legal voter can contest the results (the issues were voted down) but he has to wait for canvassing to conclude, which will be between Nov 10-15. They could call for another election, but I think it should go like this. Ryan steps in front of the election official who asks "Proposition 1, yes or no? Prop 2, yes or no? Prop 3, yes or no? Sign here" All done, nice and neat, no chance of a problem. It's not like no one will know how he voted.

The upshot of this is that he is paid to live on the land, and the issues have to do with a water district, of which he works for the lawyer hired to represent the company trying to get the issue passed. He father is the COO for the company. The company is owned by Clayton Williams, who wants to bring water in from another town, but have Midland pay for it, or something like that. This is a $300+ million proposition we're talking about. So you know he was paid to live there and register to vote and vote FOR the propositions.
