Finishing my Bancha and heading to happy hour. The upside to a sick hubby is that I don't have to worry about letting a puppy dog out.

.... but I'm not one of 'em 'cuz I just crawled out of the rack, stumbled into the kitchen, grabbed my mug and a teabag full of Fortnum & Mason's Royal Blend tea, drowned the little sucker in boiling water, and am happily burning out the lining of my mouth swilling the stuff! Yippee!! Another sunny day! Off to riding school. Vrrooooooooooom!

It's a type of Assam that I'm told is popular in Germany. I don't know much about it historically/culturally. It has a very strong flavor and smells faintly like pipe tobacco. I get mine from Upton Tea Imports (Item #s TB51, TB52 or TB54) but it looks like Tea Gschwendner sells it, too.

Lots of rock sugar and cream in strong black tea. Add some dark rum to the mix in winter time! Goooood stuff!

My Machine has been on and heating for about 1/2 hr so I just brewed a beautiful double espresso shot ,added part teaspoon of raw sugar . in about 20 minutes I'll make a 6oz cappachino with an extra shot of espresso and then I'll be fit to talk to and start my day without causing injury to and of the family members!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
