Yep. Although, I didn't buy it because it was on its own. I don't think I am going to enjoy smoky tea only (Tim has warned me that it is very strong, flavourwise). I would like to find the proper Russian caravan. They(in Tea House Emporium) had Lapsang Souchong on its own and Russian Caravan made of Lapsang Souchong and either Keemun or Asam, don't remember which one, but it missed oolong, so I gave it a pass.
There were so many other teas I wanted to try and so little time that I didn't use the opportunity to try it in their tea room. No regrets, I loved Pu erh and roasted Mate that I did try ![]() |

Lapsang Souchang on its own is perfect on rainy cold November days sitting in front of a fireplace reading a good book! Personally I think the "extra smoky" is best, but not for blending.

I like lapsang souchong sometimes (I also like peaty malts, too). I also like Earl Grey sometimes. But not together - and for some reason a while back Twinings Earl Grey started tasting like it had lapsang souchong blended in with it.
But mostly I prefer Assam |

OKiedokie.
Cuppa #3 Mate coconut milk. (mate IQ for her) Anyway, when I was in the tea shop in Bath she convinced that I must buy a funny cup/mug/glass? Hmm. Interesting experience. |

I think you'll really enjoy it. it's not necessarily an every day tea, more along the lines of what stitchawl said
