Another Stanza issue

Some times epubs made by Calibre display weirdly in Stanza (on iphone 3GS). The text appears as three lines, then a paragraph space, then another three lines. Makes for disjointed reading.
Has anyone come across this and is there a solution please? Fiddling with the layout settings helps a bit, but you are still left with sentences cut in two in the middle, separated by a "return"
Thanks!

Do the files display better elsewhere? It sounds like an issue with the source file you have made the ePub from. (PDF?)

If you are just trying to read tft and txt files....take a gander at GoodReader for $1. Use a free drop box account to get files to and from without having to sync. No need to do a format conversion via Calibre.

Yes, thanks - I already have Goodreader and its brilliant, isn't it? (Btw, I realised recently that it also plays audio files and is more convenient in many respects than the ipod app. You can drag'n drop mp3's into it as well.) Incidentally - what is a drop box account?
My question was because I find stanza very easy on the eyes, even though it is restricted to epub files, unlike Goodreader.

Dropbox.com is a free and for pay web service. It's a file storage area.

Don't know why good reader is less easy on the eyes.

I would give Stanza a miss and go for Bluefire.
