PRS-600 Feeling Lonely !

OK OK, I know the New 650 & 350 are Really Really exciting

But am I the ONLY person Still using a 600 ?

I haven't seen a 600 posting in weeks

I'm kind of getting Lonely here

Do people STILL remember the 600

Mine was bought New in February this year, and already it feels like a museum piece

nah i think the topic of discussion are the newer models.. the PRS still does what it did from day 1... but :-) the newer models take it up a notch ;-)

Nice upgrades but bottom line.. all do the same thing.. let you enjoy your epubs etc!

My girlfriend still uses a 505. It works well for her and she refuses to upgrade.

Yeah lots of older models are still good, but it was the TOTAL lack of post for the 600 that made my poor eReader feel lonely, though I did catch it with my new K3 .... Interesting cross that would make

Bought a 300 when they were discontinued, huge discount , good screen , good battery life and does what I want it to .

Why upgrade if your 600 does what you want it to and the important thing to you is probably the reading experience - if it works for you it does a fantastic job.
I still use a film camera and listen to vinyl (I also use digital) and I love these even thought they are far older technology than a 600 reader, dont let the marketing men make you feel lonely !

I got mines around the same time as well. Now I don't own one anymore. Sold it to a friend who loves it.
then after that I got a nook in July.. then just last week I ordered a 350.. still pondering a 650 too.

don't want to discourage you. But I went to a local SonyStyle store last week to have a look at the new reader. The screen was improved a lot, which made my 600 look miserable. So I traded in my 600 on the spot for a $49 gift card and ordered a 350 online.

I'm very happy with my 600 and my K3, just miss seeing posts on the 600 !

It's the same for me. I had tons of notifications for threads I was subscribed to , but now there's none.
So I keep on reading on my 600 and spend more time in an iPad specific forum.

That's the argument that I keep having with myself. My 500 is working great and I like it. But the 650 is NEW! and it looks COOL! And with the lighted cover deal, I'm seriously tempted.

New toy appeal.

I want it, but I can't decide!
