Politics and religion are the same thing; both require us to believe in something good while at the same time having no evidence to prove anything good will actually come out of it.
Yes! line them all up against the wall and shoot them ....

with silly string of course - assuming, that is, that we can find it.

I am using definition number 2. But I feel ya brother!!!

Y'all, don't let me near electronics when I'm sleep deprived and distracted, okay? I nearly had heart failure earlier, thought I'd bricked my Sony.

I had it plugged in to the computer, transferring books with calibre; and then for some stupid reason I forgot I had it plugged in and opened ADE to check something...dumb, dumb... ADE started attempting to load what it had in it's library to the Sony while calibre of course thought it should be doing the same thing. The poor Sony, caught in the crossfire, froze.
In the end, I managed to unfreeze it, all I did was bork the SD card. Which means, that although I'm thrilled that the Reader is ok... I have to reload everything onto the SD card, since I had to wipe it and format it....

I had something like 1000 books on there; added in batches over weeks. It's going to take me for 'frickin' EVER to get them all back on there. Time I'd MUCH rather spend actually READING.

One reason I prefer to use cut&paste for transferring books than allow Calibre to look after the transfer of things....

Wow, move the political and religious posts and the vent and rant thread begins a slow death .....

Oh my rant....
I keep clicking on people's avatar images thinking I'll get the full sized version.

This rant prompted by KK's new avatar.
