Trouble with image in pdf

Hi!

I'm converting some books from pdf to epub.

Why Calibre doesn't show picture/image into epub but a gray rectangle ?

Is there a solution to show pictures?

I'm using ipod touch 4g.

Hmm I had the problem of images caming out up-side-down after conversion, LOL.
Maybe iPod has a limit on image size?
