I don't know if anyone has mentioned it here yet, but Sonystyle has the Pink-350 with a free case and 2 free e-books, some of the proceeds going for breast cancer research.

I agree! I had made up my mind to get a 350 and I will always choose pink over other colors. That is, if it's not an icky pink. Barbie pink, NO WAY!

I have a red 650, prefer red to black or silver.

Since this is a pink thread, Delta Airlines has pink uniforms available for flight attendants this month - women have the option of a pink dress, and I was impressed by the men (including a pilot!) who wore a pink necktie (roughly same dye lot as the dress).

The pink 350 is metallic looking - almost like silver with a distinct reddish glint.

As to the color of the 350, to my eye it borders on plum -- the hottest color this season. Clearly someone at Sony got the memo that 80% of all books are purchased by women.

Yes, but -- Business travel naturally selects by gender IMNSHO. If you spent your time at Little League or kids' soccer games, you'd see a lot of women with e-readers.

The other huge advantage an ereader offers women is the ability to keep your reading choices private. A lot of women are sick and tired of getting judged by strangers (or husbands) for reading romance novels.

No, they wear Salmon or some other synonym for pink.

Have you seen the pink shoes, gloves and other accessories that the NFL players are wearing in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month? Looks great. And if you get tired of looking at the color of your reader, you can always skin it (from DecalGirl, for instance).

Ok, so I went ahead and ordered my pink 350.

I'm excited that I get a $50 gift card for free along with the pink breast cancer cover along with 2 free books.

It should ship out on Monday. Hopefully the size won't be an issue. if anything I'll just switch it out for the 650 if push comes to shove.

I also want to mention that the Best Buy in my area Has everyone wearing pink shirts for the month of October. They look good. Each department has a different shade of pink.

I'm shallow enough that when I pull out an electronic gadget, I want people to say "ooh, that's cool."

When I had a K1, someone once asked me "Is that a Brother Label Maker?"

So. Not. Sexy.

The pink 350 gets lots of positive attention.
