The sound of my central air conditioning blower and a jet passing overhead. My life is filled with noise so I like to either get away from it, or if that isn't possible, drown it out with white noise (the central airconditioning blower works well for that).

I've downloaded applications for my computer that did the same thing but, for reasons I haven't figured out yet, were more distracting than the sound of a blower. Same for sounds like a babbling brook (mayhap I was trying to understand what it was babbling about?), surf, rain, etc. I like those sounds but I would lay awake listening to them rather than being lulled to sleep and the sound competed with other noise instead of drowning them out. Why a blower doesn't I haven't figured out yet.

This/that IS a blower. It's a fan with various adjustable vents. The electronic things don't do it for me either.

Curious. Even more curious is the ceiling fan in my bedroom is annoying when the blower is off (when the blower is on, I can't hear the ceiling fan).

I can also hear a clock ticking but, again for reasons I haven't figured out yet, I either tune it it out or find it relaxing.
