I wonder, does Amazon take requests for books to be on the Kindle seriously? And if so is there any way to check on requests? Ive made a lot of requests myself and Im just wondering.

While it's possible that Amazon forwards the information to the publisher, I've seen a note from an indie publisher saying that he's never received such requests, even when he's clicked on the button for a book his company publishes.

Thanks. I was wondering about that. Ive been requesting a ton of books and it seems none are getting done so I was wondering. They claim to want to have every book ever made on Kindle so they really need to get to working on it.

A Payroll to Meet: A Story of Greed, Corruption, and Football at SMU by David Whitford. It's an excellent book about the fall of SMU's football program but has been out of print for a long time and used copies are pretty pricey.
