Ghost Cat

The ghost cat keeps coming back
every fortnight or so.

I see it shimmering in the entryway
or sometimes on the stairs

I don’t know what it wants
I offer food, water and mice

But nothing seems to soothe it
I think it’s come for me

These are all great. A reminder that if you are willing to offer poems under CC license they can be added to the wiki. Then they can be found easier. There is already several pages of earlier works from this thread.

Random Thoughts on a Friday

I’m pondering my prostrate
and wondering how it’s doing
tested now and then
checking for big “C”
but even if no “C”
enlargement
can make it hard to pee.
