Semi prepared with food, but not with weapons - both coming from my location

(earthquake preparedness is definitely a concern in the Bay Area).

This thread made me think of (and wish I could do as well as):

Cause KK was just talkinig about a little snow?

And DG is asking about what happens after.

I really don't know about your area, but I would guess that "weapons" aren't allowed.

Now if you lived in The Great State of Texas or Virginia weapons would be manditory. I only lived in Virginia about 10 years and have several boxed of weapons and ammo.

They give them away with a full tank of gas.

I get what she was doing. I asked how you gear up, she is now asking what you do with all the gear. preparation is fine, but if you haven't a plan you're just as hosed

How to survive a sudden collapse of civilization.

As many here don't seem to have much in the way of survival food and equipment, I've put together a plan with a reasonable chance of seeing you thru.

1) Find people who you can trust, and who trust you. These must be people with at least some supply of food and weapons.

2) Form small groups. No more than 4 or 5 people in the group. THIS IS CRITICAL!

3) Insist on a rotating watch of about 2 to 3 hours each at night.

4) When it’s your turn to be on watch, about 2 or 3 in the morning, murder everyone in their sleep and drive away to form a new group.

TIP – Don’t worry about burying the dead. Cannibals will clean up after you.

Find as many people you can trust that you can. Who knows when you will need that alternate food supply.
