Glad it seems to be getting better!

Our little grey cat used to do something similar - I don't think she much liked the feel of the litter we used. However, it was the only one she would actually go on - anything else and she'd use the paper we used to put around the box!

My maltese was trained to use a puppy pad tray and he has raised trick urinating to an art form.
Sometimes he doesn't even have to step onto the tray to hit the target!

there are 3 different litter boxes with two different kinds of litter and she does it in both. she has this funny haughty kind of look on her face when she goes... I wonder if she would actually be easy to toilet train....

I dated a rancher who had 2 toy poodles (should have gotten a clue then). their paws had never touched dirt. they had an inside potty pad that they used. if he took them anywhere they went into a stroller

AARRGGHHH!

I am being shouted at by someone because they made a mistake and they are trying to blame everyone else except admit it was them.

But on the plus side, someone else has stepped in to deal with it, and it is very amusing listening to them

Mix the red and the grey and the carpet color, could be closer to black.

It would be closer to black - the carpet's shades of dark blue, dark brown and grey. Most things seem to clean up easily out of it, too, so I wouldn't really have anything to worry about. Except co-workers possibly. They'd want to get in on the action, too

So I know this kid, friend's little brother. Total dropout plays great guitar but can't hold a job for more than 3 months; finally gets his act together and joins the USAF. I tell his brother to relay the message that I'm proud of him (despite the fact we didn't really know each other super well) and thanks for serving our country. Today the kid pops off on Facebook about how you're not an American unless you serve in the military or have a kid who does. As it happens, I wanted to serve back when I was in my late teens but was told for reasons that need not be discussed here that I should not.

Erring on the side of goodwill I withheld my original tirade and just "hid" him, but not before I fired off a "what's up with that?" to his brother. Not sure if non-Americans can appreciate this but it burns my toast (to put it EXTREMELY mildly) when my patriotism is questioned.
