Cool, "seasonal" leaves are falling, snow in the high country, rain and 50's predicted for early next week...

This morning was nice and sunny, but now it's raining. I got back just in time from buying groceries

The main reason for the delay in installing the new furnace seems to have been solved. Hopefully they will manage to start it before we are all changed into icicles

Off for a morning walk here and then the shopping/errands...

Very cool ... upper 50's today --rain was predicted by now, but it seems to be holding off a bit....

There was a light rain on the way home, and the temperature is mild. It's supposed to stay that way tomorrow, then back to sunny and dropping temperatures. I do hope the furnace is operating by then. So far things are not too bad, except that this morning there was no hot water. Rather nasty way to start a Monday morning, but things to be back to normal now, hotwaterwise that is.

25 days without rain here. Record dry spell is 56 days, so we're not in danger of breaking that one, at least.

Continued clear, cool, & sunny. Rain/sprinkles promised for tomorrow, then more clear, cool & sunny. Fall has fallen!

There was a nasty icy rain when I walked home tonight. And the temperature is supposed to drop sharply tomorrow and Thursday. I think I'll try bringing my tomato plants inside. I doubt that the remaining fruits will ripen, but I'm sure they won't if I leave them outside anyway.
