In addition to ones I checked off, I also "get the heck outta Dodge;" in other words, just get out of town for a while. Sharing with friends helps a lot too (I'm surprised that wasn't on the list when doing so with animals was). The best stress relief I ever experienced was when I got fed up with the B.S. at the last job I had, took the rest of my vacation, then called in and said I wasn't coming back. Friends said they could see the difference in me before I had even called in for the last time.

Hmm, apparently I ate some of DixieGal's cornbread casserole at some stage.

For stress I retreat, ignore, seal-up, collapse, become a singularity from which none of my own dim light can escape. I read, play the Fool online, and if I need to get out of the house for some essential reason, sometimes use a couple of shots of vodka as a heart-starter.

That is to say, I don't handle stress. Sometimes I break stuff (but I make sure it's only my own) before it breaks me. Sometimes I feel that utter independence and complete disconnection from every outside source...turning off...would be the best way to go.
