If I want it to get the data from the opf what should the setting be? Or the regex be if I want it to get the info from the filename? I don't know about deleting file formats because none of books had a format associated with them since all the folders were gone.

I really wish I understood this more, I looked in the user manual but I did not understand it because it seemed to be written for people with more technical skills than I have. Not complaining or anything, I just did not understand it. So most of my experience is from trial and error.

If there is an opf with the same name as the file, it overrides the other methods of retrieving metadata.

See Preferences|Import/Export|Adding Books and turn off the option to read metadata from file contents, then set the regex on that page.

I do not know regex, so I would not know what to put in there.
