Now for some controversial Christian artwork

I'm sure many of you have seen this before-- the web site has been around for several years.

One man has a dream-- no, not an ambition, one of the dreams where you are thinking that you have a great idea, wake up, it doesn't make quite as much sense as when you were dreaming it, then the details fade away. Except in this case, he didn't forget, and spent several years of his life studying art so that he could produce a series of drawings of a really, really creepy stalker Jesus as a "ministry."

How is that controversial? Well, I'm sure that there are Christians who think that the images are inspirational. And others that think stalker Jesus looks really, really creepy.

I checked the site and the artist's story and I found no text about him spending "several years of his life studying art so that he could produce a series of drawings of a really, really creepy stalker Jesus as a 'ministry.'"

Could you list a link where I could find that?

It wasnt "several years", but it was a few years of self study and then a few months with some other preacher dude.

"After a few years of self-study, and then three months training by an accomplished artist/instructor (a missionary on a one year sabbatical), the skills to accomplish the task began to unfold. These skills were honed by the drawing of wild animals and Christmas cards featuring our grandchildren."

EDIT: Ah, I see. Those were your ardeegee's statements of interpretation and not the artist's intent.

Creepy, but made less creepy by the obvious fact that each of the images representing Jesus is of a different person.
