On clearance - PRS300 & 600 - Page 3

Picked up the Sony 300 today at Target for $75. Thanks for the tips from this forum. There were about 3 more 300s but no 600s.

WooHoo...my Target (19610 - Wyomissing, PA) now has the PRS-300 at $37.48! The lighted cover is $13.48 and the AC adapter is $7.48.

That's fantastic. Wish they did that kind of bargain round here (UK). I suppose if they have any stock left in January they might go in the January Sales.

phhbbbttt. Local target lowered the price of the 300 a few dollars for "clearance" and the charger is currently $21, down a whole 9 bucks. They don't have any covers at all, lighted or otherwise.

I could really go for a charger, too. Maybe I need to point out to them they cannot be used with the new devices. Probably don't care.

i wish i could find the 300 for that low here in Alberta. Oh to have a Target up here. I'd for sure grab one for a back up reader

I just sold a 300 on ebay for $80.

I currently have my 600 on ebay for a minimum of $100.

My local target socal has the PRS-600 for 84.00 CLEARANCE..

I was able to take advantage of the $144 price for the prs-600. I'm so glad I did. I love this thing so much that I'm going to marry it.

I just sold my 600 on ebay for $135. I still have to pay for shipping but I'm happy getting rid of it for that price.

Yeah I just picked up 2 x 300 for $37 and the AC Adapter for $7. Great deal if you can find it at Target. I wish they had the 600...

I picked up our local Target's last 300 for $75 and the last charger for $7.50. The Sony display is gone now.

I just took my receipt back to the store and they refunded the difference between the $75 I paid at 50% off and the current 75% off price. They said they don't normally do this but because they didn't specify that they don't adjust clearance prices.

Check your local stores and you might get a find.

My local target JUST marked down their last charger to $7.48. The guy working there told me he had just done it when I picked it up and I told him "Thank you". Now they don't have to worry about selling it.
