Cover for 350?
Can anybody point me to a good cover for the 350? I bought the pink two-tone Sony case but it makes the reader as heavy as the previous 300 and I have been really enjoying the lightness of the 350 as I mainly read one handed in bed. I like the soft cover on the Sony site, the purple/pink zipped one, but apparently they only make the one size to fit both the 350 and 650. I haven't bought a lovely small portable reader to then use a cover that is much larger so has anyone found a nice cover to fit the 350 snuggly?
I should have said that I am in the UK and although I'm not averse to importing, some sites don't sell internationally. Last edited by Lyn2012; 10-04-2010 at 07:58 AM. |

I have a BookArmor cover sized for the PRS-505 and it is fantastic! It provides excellent screen protection and is lightweight. They have a version for the 350..

Why do manufacturers not take notice of the change in specifications of a new product? Do they think people will just buy whatever it is easiest for them to produce i.e. a product already in existence? IMO if people refused to buy things unless they fitted properly, maybe manufacturers would have to provide a better service. |

It is difficult to find retailers that make cases/covers for the new Sony Readers (350/650).
If you've ever used M-Edge and like their quality, send them an email telling them you wish they make covers/cases for the new Readers. |

If I was a third-party case manufacturer I wouldn't bother with the Sony readers. Sony changes them every year making the older cases obselete for the new readers. Plus Sony doesn't sell that many readers compared to Amazon. I guess maybe the actual third-party case manufacturers do as I would because it is difficult to find any nice cases for my 350. I'm currently stuck using the Sony case I had for my 300, but it is bigger than I would like and I have to use double-back tape to keep the 350 attached to the case as the connector spline was too long.

I'm looking for a case that will hold the 350 while it's in the Sony case (the Book Armor might be a good fit)
I plan to check out cases for external usb hard drives and check the interior specs. Maybe look for something similar? |
