Who's going to buy a PINK PRS 350? - Page 4

I buy almost all of my electronics in pink if I can. It keeps boys from playing with them.

If you're planning on purchasing a pink 350 anyway, you might want to wait a little longer. October is "Breast Cancer Awareness Month", and according to on-line electronics vendor J&R, there will be a special bundle deal on a pink 350 with a (pink) cover for the same price as a coverless 350:

What additional reading content might be included on the device is a mystery.

Anyone have any idea why the different colors for different countries/markets?

I'd really prefer a black or dark blue 350. The lack of one here in the U.S. has stopped me from upgrading my 505.

The black 650's features are waykewl compared with the 505 - it's much lighter, too.

I would have preferred the blue 350 myself - here in the UK we have silver and pink - so I got silver. Pink *shudders in horror*

In defense of pink, it's the least likely color to be stolen. Or abused by teenaged boys.

One of my sisters has 2 teenaged stepsons. She also is a gadget freak. Her PSP has a Hello Kitty skin on it. The boys won't go near it.

I'm a guy and I'd buy one if it were significantly cheaper, nor would I sneer at one as a gift if that was all they had in the store when the giver went to buy one.

I was going crazy without my 300. I had to drive all the way to the King of Prussia mall to get one at the Sony store. (For those who don't know, it is no where close to Prussia, nor is there anything remotely royal about it.) It is S O O O small and it really DOES make the PRS300's display look tired and outdated.

For those following such things, it was NOT pink. I will probably buy a pink one, but I'll wait 18 months when they are on close-out at Deals2Buy.com.

The 350 is certainly ... compact, fitting in all but the smallest adult hands.

Yes, but I'm not sure by how much. The screen size is the same.

I noticed that the Sony book page he uses as an illustration is Large font - does that help you with your concern about words-per-page and such?
