Mourning the saddest day of the year. Just drained the pool and rolled up the hoses for the year. Put the furniture in the garage yesterday and soon will put the bigger stuff under the tarp. Then sit around and wait for snow. Probably next week...

Next week is when our perfect weather should start. Beautiful, clear blue skies, temps in the low 90's, soon to be 80's.....nights in the 50-60's.......houses open and airy........bbq's, swimming.....

I'd eat a bowlful of spinach for some rain.......

It's interesting, it would appear that basically our winter is like other people's preferred season - but then we diverge and some people go off into bitter cold while we go off into extreme heat.
