Hello to you all from N. E. England.

I've had a Kindle 3 for a week and find it's more than adequate as an e'book reader and much easier to hold than a great heavy hard-back book

I've bought several books from Amazon and now I'm trying, without success, to persuade Calibre to recognise the Kindle so that I can transfer some of the books in my iMac's Calibre library to it.

Glad to hear you've got your K3 and are enjoying it - I'm still waiting on mine to arrive (tomorrow I hope). There's plenty of chatter in the Calibre/Kindle sections that you should be able to be up and running soon.
