Help Setting Default Library

When I noticed that Calibre supports multiple libraries, I decided to do a little housekeeping and move all three libraries to the same place. I used the library tools within Calibre to move all three of my Calibre libraries into a new folder called Calibre Libraries. I managed to make that work and all three libraries are working and available within Calibre.

Now I just have one little problem. Calibre refuses to start in any of these three libraries . Every time I start it, Calibre returns to the old place where the main library used to be located. I've tried deleting that empty folder/library from within Calibre. I've tried running the set up wizard to point Calibre to the correct library. I've tried completely exiting Calibre and deleting the old library folder. I've tried having Calibre move my main library back there and then move it back to where I want it to be. None of these have worked. When I start Calibre, if the old library folder is gone, it recreates it and its metadata file. It lets me switch easily enough to my current main library. It just refuses to start there. Besides the annoyance, it fetches subscriptions on start up and those end up in the wrong library.

How do I persuade Calibre to start in my main library and stop recreating the old library folder?

Mine starts up in whatever library I was in last.

I am curious what the solution for you ends up being.

Mine, too.
@Polly: Is it possible you have a batch file starting your Calibre that sets an environment variable, or a master environment variable set? These would have to have been configured by you for multiple library support before it was integrated into Calibre.

It's completely possible. That's how I was controlling which library loaded before this feature was integrated. Having deleted the shortcut pointing my old library and replacing it with one that doesn't, Calibre is starting for me the way that is starts for you. Thanks for the help. This new feature rocks!
