Ok, you will have to explain how my choice of A/C system supports a pshrynk. I just don't see the connection.

Well, yes and no.

There is a mobile device version of Firefox called Fennec, which began as an investigation on how to best use the small screen on mobile devices. There are versions of Fennec for the iPhone and Nokia N900.

It's apparently possible to build Fennec for Android, but it looks to be alpha status.

Right. Only way I see to do it at the moment is to export/import bookmarks. Not a huge deal, but it sure would be convenient....

It's been so nice using xmarks to keep things in sync across my computers. I'll probably move to the mozilla/firefox syncer and not worry about IE syncing (which is pretty much what I do anyway).

Pretty much what I've done with Chrome. I only use IE for the app I dev on. We have alot of work to get it to be HTML/CSS compliant since it is a .Net app that uses alot of the legacy .Net 1.1 rendering. Although it meant moving from Safari to Chrome on the Mac.. but they are pretty much identical and the Safari extensions I used all seem to be available for Chrome.

So, I'm satisfied at this point I guess. But, I would much prefer is XMarks stuck around or if LastPass added bookmark syncing.

Of course, I had to laugh at some noob that posted in the LastPass forums where people were asking for this "you already have add-ons for all the browsers, adding bookmark sync will be easy." I felt like replying to him that he had no idea what he was talking about.

I've downloaded the alpha build and tried it; as a browser it doesn't excite me but they have a ways to go still. As far as bookmark syncing, that was built in to the alpha, so if that takes precedence for anyone over, say, being ridiculously huge (it actually has to unpack the binaries twice so it ends up taking like 40MB of space) you'll be happy to know I got it to work. Now, since my 2.2 update and winning the WiFi argument with it, I'll try it again and my hunch is it'll be broken.

UPDATE: Still there in Fennec, broken in my desktop 3.6.10 install. Might try it in a VM, my Arch install got a backache with the last sysupdate.
