You must be a vision of grace in motion.

Like Curly from the Three Stooges.

I actually can play almost every instrument in the typical marching/school band. I was quite decent (first chair) at at least 3 of them. I like listening to music when I'm in the right mood, I'm constantly whistling and singing in the bathroom .... I just don't listen to music in general. When I go walking or running, I like to hear the regular sounds around me. When people talk about bands and what they like, I usually have no idea. I don't like shows like American Idol or live concerts where we just watch people sing.... music is possible background, not the main feature. But I do have a few things I like. and I used to be somewhat talented at producing music....

You are just too modest, Grace.
I'm sure you are a wonderful dancer!
I can picture you, out on the dance floor,
convulsing to the sounds of ABBA,
like an epileptic getting shock therapy,
as "Mama Mia" plays, every verse doing
irreparable damage to your brain until
you collapse to the floor like a boneless chicken
in a pool of your own drool.
Truly breathtaking!

The Who was schizophrenic, is what they were. Guess the name was prophetic.

Sooo, would you have some early Ministry, KMFDM or Front-242? Skinny Puppy, perhaps.

As far as British art-rock, I never got into Crimson (I know, heresy) or the Moody Blues for that matter. I know every note of Genesis' "A Trick of the Tail", however. I was more into the "stadium" art-rock of Yes, ELP, Rush, and I was a big Alan Parsons fan when I was little; at the risk of sounding like an old man, "Now there was a visionary!"

Fortunately, a least a few were able to take Zep as a starting point and go beyond those origins. The rest probably became copy bands.)
Actually, while early Zeppelin (among others) molded my psyche, it was Cheap Trick At Budokan complete with the thousands of screaming Japanese girls, which made me want to "do that when I grow up". I knew I was going to be a musician but the live aspect of it never hit me until that album.

I can't stand Led Zeppelin.
That is all my sisters listened to when I was growing up.
Over and over.
"Stairway To Heaven" almost drove me serial.

I liked Blue Oyster Cult.

No, I'm never LONELY as long as I keep talking to myself. I'm still alone.

Why am I telling a recluse the difference between lonely and being alone?

(and you can be un-alone and still lonely too, but I'm not talking about that right now...)

We were talking about you.

I am never lonely, and always alone.

Even in crowds.
