Okay, so noted. You'll probably have a better reaction to Warrant if you like that genre to begin with. I liked early Deep Purple (think Book of Taliesyn) far better than the later "best appreciated on downers" work, and preferred Jimmy Page's work in the Yardbirds to most of Led Zeppelin.

My example of bubblegum metal is probably the Sweet, but they are rather more in that direction than Warrant.
