As for the replaceable battery, I've learned it CAN be replaced, easily, if I ever need it too. From all reports that won't be needed until I'm ready to trade up...again!

Smaller, lighter, faster, better case, nicer controls, better contrast.

The K1? Right now its in its original book-like container, resting after a long, enjoyable, and loyal lifetime of service.

Haven't decided what do with it.

Planes flew over L.A. this afternoon dropping Kindles out attached to little parachutes. Dropped a couple hundred thousand of them. It had to do with an Oprah Winfrey promotion of some kind.

Yeah, you should move to the U.S.A. It's pretty cool over here.
