			Juste *rename* them to Type_Style.ttf . No need to convert them, that was the point of this test ^^. |

			I'm a little confused about the font hack - can you only have 1 hacked font at a time on the kindle or can you load all the fonts as they are identified in the MR Wiki? Is there a way to preview the font before loading on the kindle? Thanks! |

			@93terp: 1 font set at a time, yes. (That means 1 Serif / 1 Sans / 1 Mono). There's a link on the wiki to a page with K2 screenshots. For the K3, that'll look mostly like in the Windows (or Linux with BCI, but *not* OS X) Font Previewer, but, as always, it pays to see it for yourself, screenshots aren't very accurate in this case. @all: Posted a bunch of K3 packages for a few of the fonts in the second or third post, they should look a bit better than the previous ones . I didn't test everything, so if some of the styles look weird (Most likely the Bolds or Fontin Sans), mix them with the one from the previous packages, they'll be a bit fuzzier, but that may look better in the end). @daffy4u: Didn't try the old Fontin packages, but the latest (K3) works fine here. And for those who'd like to keep the default font (Serif, Caecilia) usable from the [Aa] menu, here's a config file that replaces the Condensed font with the default Serif one. (So, yeah, on the off chance that you actually *like* the condensed caecilia, don't try this :P). Just unpack the archive, and overwrite your "linkss/bin/font.properties-3" file with the one from this archive. (Restart the framework/Restart your Kindle to take that into account). UPDATE: Attachment removed. This is now in the full hack since v3.9.N. (Enabled via the "nocondensed" trigger file). @irha: No, I wasn't . Last edited by NiLuJe; 09-23-2010 at 09:53 PM. |

			I have the International Kindle 3 3G, as I live in Norway. Is it safe/correct to use the update_ss_0.13.N_k3g_install.bin? The device serial is prefixed B006.

			@Tech: Yeah. B006 = k3g, B008 = k3w, B00A = k3gb.

			Hmm.. I'm getting "The update was not successful" when I run the update on my K3 (fw 3.0.1) I know i'm running the install bin file and not the uninstall one. *shrug* I was uploading this to my US Kindle 3 3G/Wifi update_jailbreak_k3g_install.bin |

			^^ Oh! I was expecting the error message U004 and not the "Update was not successfull" message. Is there a way to see if the jailbreak was successful after the update?

			The U004 error is shown on the "Update was not successful" page (lower left hand corner). And, no, unless you have a shell access, you can't know if it's installed other than trying to install a custom bin. If it fails with a U007 error, the Kindle's not jailbroken. |

			Er, on an unrelated note: Why is there a creepy K3 picture on the first post that I can't get rid of? ^^
