Cybook Gen3 Ordered - Page 6

I want to buy my wife an iliad but now I think perhaps I could buy 2 Gen3's and well you can see where this is going.

Remember, Martin, that you can share MobiPocket books between the iLiad and the Gen3. That's the main benefit of MobiPocket - it's available on lots of different devices.

Yes, and that is certainly one of the drivers in this one. I seem to have defaulted to MobiPocket and use it for everything apart from PDF's. A question with DRM is how many devices can I put a book on? I use my laptop to download books and then put them on the iLiad, would I then be able to place them on 2 Gen3's? If not I would just have to choose I guess.

I think the Gen3 would be perfect for travel as it will be more robust and battery life is better.

I believe that you can have up to 4 devices registered at any one time. A laptop, iLiad, and two Gen3's would be fine.

I agree with you about the travel aspect of the Gen3 - that's why I've ordered one. I plan to use my iLiad at home, and take the Gen3 with me on my travels.

Got mine to. Nice if it is delivered in Monday. Now I just have to check if I need to be home to receieve the package or if they leave it at some place where I can fetch it later.

. FedEx are generally pretty reliable with delivery estimates, in my experience, and (in my case) it doesn't have far to travel.

I'm still waiting for my shipping confirmation (checking my E-mails twice the hour)

So far the last confirmed shipping goes to Nr. 2423, tcmoon; anybody got a confirmation with a higher shipping number?

I have orderid 2483 and it is shipping. I wonder how many they sold in a couple of days? Somebody speculated in 50 but it seems like more if you look at the number.
