K3G, Installed jailbreak, Installed SS Hack, Installed update 3.02 from 3.01. All Great. Many thanks for your hard work. Now waiting for the SS Timeout hack.....please......

Thank you sooooooooo much NiLuJe, everything worked like a charm and my K3 wifi is now jailbroken, updated to 3.02, and with my very own screensavers - what a relief, lol!!

@pilotdrh2003: The power saving settings seems to have moved around a bit, couldn't find the setting we used to tweak in my first cursory gance at the system... If anyone has more info about that, I'd be glad to hear it

Are we 100% sure that all the fonts in posts #1 and #2 of this thread are actually 100% legal to distribute on MR? If not, they need to go.

I believe that the copyright issue was explored later in this thread, when the fonts were done for the K2.

Are you one of the moderators JSWolf? Just wondering as the mods here dont always say. And the last 2 posts I have read from you are about rules and stuff.

What is the root directory? As in, where am I supposed to put the jailbreak code, exactly? Do I just drag and drop?

Belle, when you look at all the drives on your computer, you will most likely have a C drive, a D drive, and also, your Kindle will show. Simply copy the file into "kindle" and dont open up the kindle drive.

My 3G+WiFi Kindle3 works quite well with 0.2 jailbreak and SS hack. Thanks NiLuJe.

Does anyone have a link for the original 3.x font set?
We - people in my local forum, that is - would like to see it to have swap some domestic fonts.

(btw, where did you guy get 3.02 from?)

Slightly off topic here, but WHY do they (so many theys) use that horrible picture of her? I found other, perfectly presentable ones online...

ETA: Just wanted to verify that I was able to do the jailbreak and add the screensaver hack, and have it working with my own screensavers, THEN update to 3.0.2 without having to remove or disable anything.
