Howdy y'all
Just received my first eReader yesterday (a Kindle "3"), and am looking forward to using it to enjoy one of my hobbies (reading) in a new, environmentally friendly and less expensive way. Not being real tech savy I may run into things I haven't figured out yet and could use some help with - like how to remove a book from my Kindle archive? I downloaded an ebook onto my Mac before getting the Kindle and after reading a bit of decided it wasn't worth reading. I deleted it from my archive on Amazon.com, but it still shows up in the Kindle archive. I haven't read all the way through the Kindle manual yet, but couldn't find a workable solution when I googled the situation. It's no big deal - rather a minor annoyance. Any ideas?

From your Kindle users manual.......


To permanently remove an item in the list from your account and Archived Items:

1. Locate the item you wish to delete in the "Your Orders" section. If you have a lot of content, you may need to use the Previous and Next links at the bottom to navigate through all of your content.
2. Click on "Delete this title" button next to the title to permanently remove the title item from your account and Archived Items.

Note that after the title is removed from your account, you will no longer have access to re-download this title unless you re-purchase it. Existing copies of this title already on your device will not be removed unless you choose to delete them. For more information on removing content from your device please see Removing Kindle Content.
