he is pretty awesome isn't he!?

like I said I was a wreck. he had died a week earlier and we had had the memorial the day before. when I packed to go up to their house, I'm not entirely certain what I was thinking. the most logical thing I did show up with was clean underwear and something to wear to the memorial.

I got a wild hair up my butt and decided the best tribute I could give him was getting his kids, my sister and me and my kids out to the range and shoot some of his favorite guns. I called the gun club and they closed the range to the general public for about 4 hours so we could do that. I guess it's become something of a legend amongst some of the clubs in the state, I have people compliment me on it still

Yeah, he likes 'em little, brunette, and curvy. That Glamor Shot got me in more trouble... I loved it, but everyone else hated it, said it looked nothing at all like me. Well, maybe it didn't but I sure wish what looked back at me in the mirror every day resembled that a bit more!

Yeah, I think the shooting range is a cool idea. I'll have to try it someday. I used to enjoy bow & arrow when I was 10, at summer camp.

I've got a personal pic (in 1770's gown) in my picture album here. On the whole, though, I prefer my own mental image of myself -- when I'm not in front of a mirror seeing the real thing. I like Xena's blue eyes and dark hair, but it feels wrong-wrong-wrong when I've seen the actress (Lucy Lawless) in her natural blond state.

Just back from my lunch walk....took the DroidX along to read and completely different experience today as the sky is clear and the sun brightly shining. Only readable with some shade on the screen...

What bugs me is that I have the same problem with the LCD screen on my camera! As long as the sun isn't shining, I can see what I'm photographing!
