Do you think that this totally unreasonable paranoia the you and Poohbear have could be something in your feed?

Don't get upset! I'm just saying that it could be something in what you're eating that causes these delusions of persecution.

If you're eating organically grown feed it could be something natural in the soil like a fungus or a bacteria. If it's from a big agraget farm system it could be some deadly chemical intended to kill off harmful funguses and bacteria.

There's a veterinarian I know, a colonel in fact, that knows chickens inside and out. He'll set you two straight in a couple of minutes. Trust me.

I'm SO SO sorry, SoS, but wearing specs won't let me read using gas lighting, quaint or not. I need powerful halogen or LCD illumination. So I guess the grill thingy is out. Any other reading venues?

And I am very careful what I eat! And WHERE I eat! And WITH WHOM I eat! That's why I'm still around. Get the picture?

You set the dial to whatever you want, then take a nice nap. If it needs to be changed while you sleep, I'll set for you. With pleasure.

You know, there is a wire reading stool with a built in beer holder. Want me to pick one up for you?

By the way, if that ol paranoia has you wide awake I can get you some sleeping pills to relax you when you come over for the BBQ

Oh - a beer holder? That would be grand! And no - if I'm reading, I won't be sleeping at all! Sometimes I just read thru the night without stopping. It's so relaxing - won't need any pills either.

What kind of beer you got?

Guess I'll just have to stay with my "Cuisine for One" meal tonight - not in the mood for BBQ!
