It is bulky, but I don't find it excessively so. Some folks might.

I was just looking at the Oberon site, and the purple Roof of Heaven is no longer available. Now they have it in marigold, saddle, and sky blue (the one I have). The saddle is lovely, and so is the marigold. My Nook's da Vinci Oberon cover is in saddle, and I love it. Just got my new K3 a few minutes ago and with a bit of sewing on a couple of the straps, it should fit the K3 nicely. I'll be selling the Nook, but I could never part with its beautiful Oberon cover!

I had the m-edge before the Oberon, it's not too much bulkier. think about yet another half a cover, and that might give you an idea as to the size.
