Canadian Sony 505 Reader.
Hello everyone,
I've had my sony PRS-505 from a couple of years now, and though I love my reader  , the sony software i like not so much.  I was using the stupid software to load my reader only, and using Calibre to do all my converting, but in the last month, the sony crap has stopped working. I've not been able to start it up, even though I've re-installed it many times.  I decided to go full tilt with Calibre since it's so much more user-friendly and will post my issues with Calibre in the Calibre forum. Hi I've been using Calibre since getting my ebook and apart from the plethora of updates, I turned of the auto update and just update about once a month, I have had no problems or regrets yet and I have had my ebook since they first came out in the uk.
Good luck with the change its worth it as the software just keeps getting better and better. Izzy |

 Welcome to mobileread .... as far as I can understand you don't even need to use Calibre to transfer .... just Windows copy&paste .... |

welcome Sarah I use Calibre to organize, but I'm still using my laptop to read so I don't have any experience converting for ereaders.
