Do you read all of them? I collect ebooks to the point of morbidity but 200 books on a reader is just waaay over what I can read.

Well, mostly those are TBR, but when I'm ready to choose the next book to read, I like to have a variety depending on what I'm in the mood for.

Not being able to add to the TBR list is the only annoyance (well, I *would* like better ergonomics) I have with the 505.

Have they said anything about allowing B&N style DRM in addition to regular Adept DRM? The SDK Adobe put out earlier in the year allows for both to be used at the choice of the manufacturer.

I can't read all the books on my reader at one time, but I want them all there. I never know what I'm going to be in the mood for next, and don't want to have to run to the computer to add it on.

A reader with less than 4G built-in memory without a card slot is a deal-breaker for me. Since my ebook collection is only 1 and a bit of gigs, I'm okay with 4 gigs, even if there is no card slot. 3 gigs would be okay, but I don't expect a reader with such an odd amount of memory.

I like to have my books at my fingertips, when I'm deciding on the next ebook to read. So far I have 415 on my Nook.

they say the Kindle gives you wifi and 3G but no touch screen

The Nook gives you wifi and 3G at a slightly higher cost than the Kindle, and a limited tiny touch screen below the main screen.

The Sonys have no wifi nor 3G, but do have a touch screen.

OK, I'm a bit puzzled. I was looking to see how the new models match up in terms of size and checked the online User Guides at Sonystyle. According to their User Guides, the PRS-650 is 8.6"x4.66"x0.28" and 7.58 ounces compared with the PRS-600 at 6.88"x4.88"x0.38" and 10.1 ounces.

Does it make sense that the new PRS-650 is approximately 1.75" taller than the older PRS-600 and approximately 2.5 ounces lighter?

If the PRS-650 is REALLY that much taller it will drive me to the PRS-350, even with the smaller screen.

Never mind ... looked at the website and its 6.6 inches compares correctly to the 168mm in the User Guide, but incorrectly to the 8.6 inches in the User Guide. Looks like the User Guide has a type.

Hmph. I prefer the nook (in part) because I think it looks more elegant, while the Sony looks too industrial. To each his/her own.

Not sure which is right, but the dimensions quoted on the Canadian Sony Store look more realistic (none available yet at Sony.co.uk). They are; 6 and 5/8" x 4.66" x 13/32" (h/w/d).

I'd tentatively suggest that that 8.6" is a misprint?

And because of that video, I was able to see that the version of ADE on the new readers does support full justification without the side page numbers. The book on the screen was released March 2010 after Sony gave up on LRX. So there is no way that would be an LRX eBook. Plus, the formatting is different from an LRX eBook. So it seems now that Sony has the best version of ADE since it now supports full justification and no side numbers.

I bought my PRS-600 a month ago... two days later I received it Amazon said they were releasing the K3. I was shocked, but the lack of ePUB support made me rest.

After watching the Engadget video and seeing how incredible that new screen looks makes me sad. I want it so bad! There's too much glare on my PRS-600!
