I finally got my "Your order has shipped email" this evening. Delivery to Seattle scheduled for August 31.

I ordered my Kindle 3 Wifi/Graphite on the morning of July 31, while the page still said "order now for release day delivery." Oh well, I can wait four more days...

That's good to hear. I ordered the next day (aug 1) so hopefully mine will get shipped on Monday or Tuesday. Do you know where they are shipping from? The most west I have heard of is Reno, NV

Astoria is only 90 minutes from Portland, OR

Mine came out of Phoenix. They obviously have a lot of distribution centers. Although shipped, it still isn't registered. I guess it is because I bought it as a gift for myself, stupidly thinking that they would ship out gifts faster.

But it hurts so bad!

My K3 finally changed to order being readied for shipping status so expect it will go out tomorrow and arrive Wednesday. Ordered Aug 1st
