re: Kindle 3 It's tempting, very tempting .... but since the K3 bears a lot of resemblance to my K2, which I still like, I think I'll be able to resist. Though, if my current financial woes get straightened out by Christmas, it might be a very nice Christmas present to myself.

No, I haven't heard from her. I hope she's just busy! Last year about this time, two of us were texting her daily to make sure she had no more heart issues. After three months, that got old and we agreed to stop. It would be nice to hear what she's up to now!

Wonder if *she* has splurged and gotten a K3? Although she was a big proponent for the insertable memory card in the K1, for her large law library of documents.

SS has just realised that along with all her photos, the unlodged tax returns, and all her personal files (including her US address for the Sony Store), she has lost the voucher number for the direct ebooks prize that she had forgotten about.
