Every time I go to the front door looking for a brown truck or a box, the dog thinks we are going for a walk. Amazon, she is getting really disappointed. I am not going to take her for a walk and possibly miss the brown truck!

I'm beginning to double the validity of an Aug 27 delivery date.

I, too, applied a Gift Card to the order and it changed from "We need more time..." to Delivery Date: Aug 27. However, that's tomorrow. And it's not even in the "shipping soon" phase yet. I can still cancel, modify the order, etc.

Ah, well, it wasn't supposed to go out till before Sept 4 anyway. Perhaps it will ship out tomorrow and be here on Monday.

I ordered on the 29th and just got shipping confirmation for tomorrow delivery. Strangely enough it was just after hanging up the phone with amazon customer service. Kindle graphite WiFi and lighted cover

Ordered on release date and delivery via priority int'l courier to Canada.

Interesting, I called amazon, and the operator assured me that it would be shipped within "24 to 48 hours." An email to amazon support results in the same blurb that was posted here earlier.

Mine is not shipped yet but show shipping date today or tomorrow with delivery Mon/Tues. We will see. Course I don't even get to open it as it's a present for my hubby!!!!
