Just received my shipping notice for my black wifi (and my nonlighted cover). Going to Amazon's page says it will be delivered tomorrow. Im in nashville and my k3 is shipping from lexington, ky

I ordered on July 28 with 2day prime

Ok, I did a retry payment method, and my status went from being notified of a shipping estimate to 26th-30th Aug, estimated delivery 30th Aug - 6th Sept. I ordered 3rd August (so I am in the group expected to have their Kindle ship on or before 4th Sep).

Just got the email that my cover has shipped, good news but ....

Then further down, it says

The following items will ship separately, as soon as they're available:
1 Kindle Wireless Reading Devic $189.00
via UPS (estimated delivery date: August 27, 2010).

Yes, they misspelled device AND gave me an estimated 9/27 delivery ... oh boy, now they've got my hopes up.

EDIT: Nerts, just realized the way they worded the email the 9/27 delivery is probably just for the case, and not for the Kindle listed right above the delivery date

Order placed July 28 - 3G version - no fancy shipping options selected but apparently I got free 2-day shipping. It's due to arrive tomorrow. Although it's for my wife, I'm still looking forward to comparing it to the K2.

The order page for my Graphite 3G Kindle and lighted cover changed to the "This portion of your order is being prepared for shipment and cannot be canceled or changed" message 11 hours ago and I'm still waiting on my email with shipping info.

I've hit F5 and checked my email so much I'm waiting for the electronics to revolt lol... I'm just hoping that they are so busy actually getting our Kindles out the door that they are just behind in getting the emails out and I'll be surprised tomorrow.

I have Prime and paid for 1 day shipping.
