Special program needed on PC to recognise K?
Hi,
Do I need to download a special program onto my laptop if I want to use the Kindle usb cable to transfer files and re-charge it? For my blackberry (bb), I had to ask our IT dept to load a program so that my laptop would recognise the bb - this wasn't a problem since the bb and laptop belonged to the company. They might not be happy to do it for the Kindle since its a personal gadget. Thanks for your help Bernadette |

The Kindle works with the PC just like a USB memory stick. No special software required.
