Yes, the external drive is in the drawer WITHOUT the data. Now the bluddy hard drive won't even spin

I had more hope when I could just not see that partition, then the whole thing died.

I am (should post this on the wishful thinking thread) kinda hoping we can take out the physical drive and put it in a drive box and then see if we can recover any data. But I know that is beyond our capabilities.

Don't we have a hug smiley somewhere?? Honey, I am so so so sorry for your loss. I've actually gone through this... when I moved from Texas to Illinois, my computer never showed up. I shipped it from Texas and it disappeared in transit. Lost all my photos, my music, emails, addresses....
