iBooks bookshelf order

I want my books in bookshelf mode in alphabetical order by author, but I've over 700 books so cant be bothered doing it manually. How?

The bookshelf view IS a manually ordered view, but you can also sort by author or title if you wish.

Automated script. The simplest would be assuming that it's possible to use the Calibre command line tools to manually transfer a book to iBooks, add your books in reverse alphabetical order one at a time.

Otherwise, some scripting software like autokey or AppleScript to import books 1 at a time from a generated list.
